Grow in a fulfilling career as an Airport Employee Screener working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical‑thinking skills while identifying and preventing unsafe objects from exiting the airport.

• Conduct thorough and efficient screening of airport employees entering restricted areas.
• Verify the identity and credentials of employees using established procedures.
• Operate screening equipment, such as metal detectors to detect prohibited items.
• Enforce security regulations and policies in a professional and courteous manner.
• Monitor employee behavior and report any suspicious activities or violations.
• Collaborate with airport authorities and law enforcement to address security concerns or incidents.
• Provide clear and concise instructions to employees regarding the screening process.
• Conduct property searches as part of the overall security strategy.
• Respond promptly to alarms or alerts generated by screening equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of screening activities and incidents.

• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• Have an active NYS Security Guard License.
• Ability to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
• Pass a pre‑employment background check.
• Interact professionally with the public with a focus on customer service.
• Proven experience in security, screening, or a related field is preferred.
• Excellent observational and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
• Handle high‑stress situations calmly in a dynamic environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to following established security protocols.

• Hourly Wage: $17.00 per hour.
• No prior experience is necessary; receive on‑the‑job training.
