• Maintain ethics and professionalism in the execution of duties and responsibilities.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Perform bevel joint cutting with an oxy‑acetylene torch.
• Pass pipe welding practical tests, including carbon steel 6010 root with 7018 fill in 6G position on 2” Monster coupon, carbon steel 6010 root with flux core fill in 6G position on a 6” schedule 80 coupon, TIG on carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Follow industry standard and code‑compliant construction practices.

• Minimum 5 years of pipe welding experience.
• Experience with industrial and process piping systems, especially hospitals and heavy institutional installations.
• Pipefitter experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of carbon steel, stainless steel, heating and cooling lines, mechanical room or central utility plant experience.
• Drug test and pre‑employment knowledge & skills test required.
• OSHA 10‑hour certification required prior to start (free online course provided by the company).
