Pengate Handling Systems is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our service team! Our technicians are key to our reputation in the material handling industry. What You'll Do:

• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical problems, perform installations, repairs, and scheduled maintenance based on customer needs, ensuring complete customer satisfaction in a professional manner within a team environment.
• Analyze breakdowns and recommend corrective actions to customers.
• Maintain a professional demeanor, promote goodwill, and provide superior customer service.
• Perform repairs professionally and efficiently.
• Manage parts and supplies inventory in the service van and maintain the vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

• Valid driver’s license
• One to three years of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic experience or equivalent education.
• Effective communication skills with customers, management, and co-workers.
• Ability to stay updated on industry innovations and product availability to make informed recommendations.

Travel Requirements:

• This position requires daily travel within assigned territories.
• Technicians will be provided a company vehicle and fuel card.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift/move up to 70 pounds
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours
• Good speaking, hearing, and articulation skills
• Visual acuity, including close vision and focus adjustment
