Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are hiring a Diesel Mechanic Technician and Reefer Technician for our Miller Truck Leasing division in Rochester, NY
.

• Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles.
• Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures.
• Work inside and in the yard performing yard checks and repairs.

• 3 or more years’ experience working on refrigerated units and/or a valid 608 certification (Thermo King experience highly preferable).
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1–7 diesel tractors.
• Valid CDL (Class A or
  
  B) or ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with trainer assistance.
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Ability to work as either a Reefer Technician (Tuesday–Friday 10 AM–6:30 PM, Saturday 8 AM–4:30 PM) or a Diesel Technician (Tuesday–Friday 12 PM–8:30 PM, Saturday 8 AM–4:30 PM).
