Location: City of Rochester

Talent line Services is working with a client in the Rochester, NY area to help fill multiple direct-hire Journeyman Millwright positions for a non-union manufacturing facility. This is a full-time role with a steady Monday–Friday schedule and overtime when the work requires it. You’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and production equipment.

An active Journeyman Millwright card or equivalent experience is required

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Install, align, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical systems
  • Perform precision work including equipment leveling, shaft alignment, bearing replacement, and conveyor systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues on production equipment and support breakdown repairs
  • Read and work from mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals
  • Perform rigging, lifting, and equipment moves using forklifts, cranes, hoists, and rigging gear
  • Perform welding and fabrication as required (MIG, TIG, Stick a plus)
  • Work alongside electricians, engineers, and maintenance teams to support machine installs and upgrades
  • Follow all safety rules, take part in toolbox talks, and report unsafe conditions immediately
  • Help train and mentor less-experienced millwrights when needed
What We’re Looking For
  • Active Journeyman Millwright card or strong equivalent experience
  • Experience working in industrial and manufacturing environments
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read prints, schematics, and equipment manuals
  • Physically able to:
    • Work at heights and in tight or confined spaces
    • Work in hot and cold conditions
    • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring tools
  • Basic computer skills and solid communication
  • Willing to work overtime and occasional travel as required
