Software Engineer​/Developer

TOPTICA Photonics, Inc.is the North American subsidiary of TOPTICA Photonics, SE, a global manufacturer of high-performance laser systems used in demanding applications in science and industry. We are seeking a qualified Software Developer to work with cross-functional teams across a wide range of projects. This role will interface with nearly all functions of the company including R&D, Operations, Accounting, and Sales and Marketing. This position will challenge candidates with tasks in product andcontrolssoftware, automation, business and finance analytics.

• Software development for wide-ranging needs across our manufacturing organization
• Develop andmaintaincompany dashboards for KPI tracking
• Consistent code documentation and control
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams todefine scope of projects
• Delivery and maintenance of software systems
• Must have experience with customer-facing software interfaces (Front end)
• Code maintenance and version control
• Instrument interfacing and communication
• Interfacing electronics and systems
• Motion control and automation
• FPGA and embedded systems development
• Data mining for business analytics,Qlik senseand / or Power BIfamiliaritya plus.
• Bachelor's degree in software engineeringor related technical field
• 2 - 3 years ofrelatableexperience
