Airgas is Hiring for a Local Delivery Driver (CDL B) in Rochester, NY.

• Operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle, delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes.
• Collect empty cylinders from customers.
• Record transactions and obtain signatures.
• Address customer inquiries, ensuring satisfaction.
• Handle loading/unloading.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle checks, noting issues and ensuring safety compliance.
• Present a professional appearance and maintain the vehicle’s condition.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class B CDL license.
• Must have HAZMAT endorsement or be able to obtain it within 90 days of hiring.
• Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
• DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers required.
• Ability to routinely lift 25–75 lbs., occasionally >100 lbs.
• Willingness to work outdoors in changing temperatures.
• Ability to maintain a drug‑free workplace.
• Adherence to safety regulations and policies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience.
• Touch freight delivery experience.

• Pay range: $27–$30.
