Job Schedule: 9/80:
Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off.

Job Description: Support warehouse operations with product put-away, cycle counting, audits and movement of equipment/materials across campus. Assist with recycling efforts of metal and e-waste. Provide support to transportation. Drive a straight truck making deliveries and pick-ups on campus and to local suppliers as required. Occasionally handle inter and intra state pickups and/or deliveries.

  • Ability to safely load and secure highly valuable, sensitive parts/material/equipment
  • Familiar with dock operations and able to handle items (up to 35 lbs.) utilizing proper lifting techniques and material handling aids (e.g., pallet jacks, height adjustable carts, etc.) and may operate a forklift upon receipt of internal certification.
  • Knowledge of safe material handling practices and ability to maintain compliance with L3

    Harris specific Environment Health and Safety policy/procedure regarding material handling.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience, or 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Possesses CDL‑B license.
  • Ability to obtain US Government security clearance.

Preferred Additional

Skills:

  • Aptitude to learn various software applications.
  • Clean driver’s license with a minimum of three years’ driving experience.
  • CDL‑A preferred.
  • Able to obtain DoD top‑secret clearance.
  • Haz Mat license endorsement preferred.
  • Licensed to operate forklift and crane preferred.
  • Experience working in a warehouse and/or production environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiar with MS Office applications.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy.
  • Organizational skill – good time management.
  • Familiar with loading (strapping/tarping) flatbeds.

Salary Range: In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $17.78/hr – $33.17/hr this is not a guarantee of compensation; the final offer may vary based on experience and geographic location.
