Material Handlers Needed!

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay: $21 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to support daily warehouse operations in our Aftermarket Fulfillment Center (AFC). This role is responsible for accurately moving, storing, picking, and packing materials using both manual methods and powered equipment. If you have warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

• Move incoming materials from receiving and quality hold areas to proper storage locations.
• Load/unload materials using a forklift, pallet jack, or manual hoist.
• Consolidate and organize materials to maintain efficient storage.
• Perform accurate inventory transactions using a computer and RF scanner.
• Verify material identification and quantities to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Tag and label materials to support accurate picking and counting.
• Follow established processes to prioritize put-away tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Pick materials from storage to fulfill customer orders using system-generated pick lists.
• Label, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, including generating small-parcel shipping labels.
• Create sales order kits by picking, labeling, and packing multiple components.
• Operate forklifts and hoists to move or load materials safely.
• Report incorrect or damaged parts through quality notifications.
• Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
• Support other warehouse and production areas as needed, especially during peak periods.
• Uphold all safety policies and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production goals.

• Ability to read and follow safety rules, operating instructions, and standard procedures.
• Able to understand simple instructions and communicate clearly with team members.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow processes accurately.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Problem‑solving skills in standardized situations.

• 1-3 years of warehouse or material handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred).
• 1+ year of forklift operation experience (certification a plus).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
