PositionSummary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities include inspecting and stocking materials, picking and packing orders, assisting with shipments, and providing customer service while ensuring smooth operations.
Pay RangeBase pay range: $17.00/hr – $18.00/hr your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities- Receives incoming materials, checking packing slips against actual merchandise received. Inspects materials for obvious defects, solves related problems and notifies supervisor as necessary.
- Stocks shelves, ensuring materials are in their designated area.
- Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders, back orders, inter‑branch transfers and will‑call orders. Identifies correct quantity and customer specifications.
- Utilizes RF guns for picking and packing.
- Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
- Assists with loading and unloading trucks.
- Assists customers with pipe purchases.
- Cuts wire for counter, will‑call, and other specific sales orders to meet customer specifications.
- Checks email and trackers daily for time‑sensitive company information.
- Posts purchase orders via RF and other related data into the computer system.
- Works closely with all internal departments to help us achieve our mission, “To deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining the highest standards for courtesy, knowledge, and ethics.”
- Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
- May be required to operate powered industrial trucks.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs several times a day, bend, and twist.
- Adheres to all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Acts in a safe and positive manner always, ensuring that those around you do not put themselves or others sonal safety is your responsibility.
- Completes an accident/incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed.
- Works Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
