Overview
The Onsite Material Coordinator is a key position crucial to the overall success of CSI distribution operations. This temporary assignment operates within a customer facility or in close local proximity, supporting local customer business. Responsibilities include receiving, put away, inventory control, cycle counting, picking, packing, and managing and issuing customer managed material. Most fulfillment operations are Will Call and Delivery. The Onsite Material Coordinator must be able to perform light repairs, show initiative, take pride and ownership, and work well in a team or independently.
Excellent communication skills (listening, verbal, and written) are required. High attention to detail and a commitment to 100% customer satisfaction are essential. The role requires significant interaction with customers and represents CSI locally.

- Receive all types of material per procedure – daily
- Inventory
- Customer Returns
- Customer Managed Inventory
- Transfers
- Receive and document lot-tracked material per procedure – daily
- Put away parts per procedure – daily
- Check for accuracy in receiving – actual receipt vs. computer receipt
- Check that part numbers and quantities match
- Update part attributes
- Shipping
- Pull inventory, pack, and ship orders to prevent damage – daily
- Pull and record lot-tracked material for sales orders and transfers – daily
- Check orders for accuracy – daily
- Pull MTRs for all 316L, AL-6XN, C-22, and as requested on orders – daily
- Pick, pack and ship warehouse transfers
- Record heat numbers on packing lists for all 316L, AL-6XN, C-22 materials
- Deliveries
- Print orders using Fulfillment Workbench
- General Utility in Warehouse
- Sweep floors; warehouse – as needed
- Empty trash; warehouse – as needed
- Break down and/or stack pallets – as needed
- Break down cardboard boxes for recycling – as needed
- Wipe down shelves and straighten inventory – as needed
- Submit supplies requisition to supervisor
- Train on and operate all warehouse equipment
- Forklift
- Truck and flatbed trailer
- Inventory Control
- Investigate inventory discrepancies before adjustments are processed – as needed
- Timely and accurate cycle counts – as needed
- Run count sheets
- Enter Counts
- Investigate all discrepancies
- Submit final count to supervisor
- Indexing using Synergy – as needed
- Setup and move item locations – as needed
- Identify and make available locations for new parts – as needed
- Comply with all federal, state and local laws applicable to position and employment generally
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Contribute to a safe, healthy, productive and enjoyable workplace
- Performs other duties as assigned by the CEO, President, Director – Supply Chain & Logistics, Manager – Warehouse & Logistics, Supervisor – National Warehouse
- Location:
Onsite in Webster, NY - Salary: $30 - $35 per hour
- Hours:
Rotating shift of 4 - 10 hour days (Monday - Thursday or Thursday - Friday)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain forklift certification
- Must have or be able to obtain a chauffeurs’ license to drive delivery truck
- Computer knowledge required
- Epicor Kinetic software preferred
- CSI experience preferred
More than 40 hours per week may occasionally be required to achieve productivity. Saturday and some Sunday availability will be expected. Warehouse positions require physical exertion and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. Visual acuity and the ability to operate computer equipment are required. The role may involve exposure to typical warehouse environmental factors.
