This individual is responsible for all the inventory management which helps our company reach the growth, profitability, and sustainability goals we have set. A collaborative attitude is necessary as this role interacts with various support teams within the organization.

This leader will create and maintain a business culture where all employees are engaged and committed to safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Essential Functions

• Reviewandrecommendimprovedoperatingpoliciesandprocedures.
  
  Ensuringtheproperimplementationandmaintenanceofapprovedchanges.
• Evaluate andmakingrecommendationsregarding employment,performanceratings,salary changes,promotions, transfers,and terminations of personnel.
• Guide andadvisepersonnel in themore complexphasesoftheirwork, aswellas suggested training.
• Drive Qualityalongsideprofitabilityinthecompany.
• Keepwill callreportuptodate andaccuratebyworkingwiththe insidesalesteamtoensure queues andtrackers are addressed in atimelymanner.
• UpdateADP System dailyand transmitpayroll as required.
• Maintainasafe environmentforallcustomersand employees.
  
  Responsible for general maintenance,insideandoutsidethefacility.
• Optimize thebranch's inventorytoexceed customer'sexpectations and satisfaction.
• Workcloselywithinternal departments,combining individual efforts tobetterserve the customer.
• Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.

Additional Duties and trainandassiststaff withthe following:

• Receives incoming materials,checkingpackingslipsagainst actualmerchandise received.
• Inspects materialsforobviousdefects.
  
  Solvesrelatedproblems andnotifiessupervisor,as necessary.
• Stocks shelves, ensuring materials are in their designated area. Pulls materials from warehouse shelves to fill current orders, back orders, inter-branch transfers, and will call orders. Carefully identifies quantities and customer specifications. Utilizes RF guns for much of the picking & packing function.
• Packs and ships materials in designated cartons per customer order and department procedures.
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks.
• Receivesandhangsreelsofwire in designated area.
  
  Cuts wire tocustomerspecificationfor counter,will call,andotherspecificsalesorders.
• Posts purchase orders andotherrelated dataintothe computer system.
• Communicates with the sales departmentwhenmaterialorderedisnot available.
• Workscloselywithall internal departments tohelpus achieveourmissiontobe“The distributorofchoice.”
