Data Entry Administrator About the Role
We are a recruitment agency working on behalf of Rochford District Council and are recruiting for a Data Entry Administrator to join their team in Rochford SS4 on a 3 month contract. This is a full time, Monday to Friday role offering weekly pay and a consistent working pattern.
The position focuses on accurate data input and general administrative support within a professional local authority environment.
What You’ll Do- Accurately enter and update data across internal systems
- Check information for accuracy, completeness, and errors
- Maintain well organised digital records and files
- Provide administrative and data support to the wider team
- Handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using computers and internal data systems
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Reliable, professional, and process driven
- Previous experience in data entry or office administration
This role may suit candidates with experience as a Data Entry Clerk, Data Administrator, Admin Assistant, Office Administrator, Business Support Assistant, or Records Officer. Experience from local authority, public sector, housing, NHS, education, or other structured office environments where accuracy and data handling are key would transfer well.
