Position: Asbestos Surveyor (Permanent)
Asbestos Surveyor – Essex

Salary: £33,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join our growing team operating across Essex and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a range of asbestos surveys in line with current legislation and company procedures, ensuring high standards of safety and compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys in accordance with HSG
264 guidelines.

* Collect bulk samples for laboratory analysis and ensure accurate data recording.

* Produce clear, detailed and timely survey reports.

* Liaise with clients and contractors professionally to deliver excellent service.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, UKAS accreditation standards, and relevant health & safety legislation.

* Maintain company equipment and vehicle to a high standard.

Requirements

* BOHS P402 (Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings) or equivalent qualification (essential).

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in asbestos surveying (domestic, commercial and/or industrial sites).

* Good knowledge of current asbestos legislation and HSG
264.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
