Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing high-quality care. As a Dental Assistant, you will assist the dentist during various procedures, ensure the smooth operation of our office, and help create a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during exams and dental procedures (e.g., fillings, extractions, cleanings).

Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.

Take and develop dental X-rays.

Prepare patient charts and maintain accurate records.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care.

Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Assist with office tasks, including scheduling and patient communication as needed.

Qualifications:

Required:

Dental Assistant certification (or in progress).

CPR/BLS certification.

Experience as a dental assistant is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate.

Ability to work well in a team and maintain a positive, professional attitude.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to put patients at ease.

Preferred:

Experience with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix).

Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control standards.
