Seeking a physician leader for a full-time Medical Director role overseeing a hospitalist program in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This position blends clinical care with leadership responsibilities, with strong operational support and a focus on quality, safety, and team performance.
Position Highlights- Full-time Medical Director role leading an established hospitalist team
- Responsible for clinical and non-clinical oversight of the program
- Drive quality, safety, efficiency, and patient care outcomes
- Support physician engagement, alignment, and performance improvement
- Employed model with health benefits
- Medical director stipend + hourly rate for clinical shifts + quality bonus
- Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage
- Manage clinical, operational, and financial goals of the program
- Recruit, orient, and onboard new hospitalist clinicians
- Provide feedback, coaching, and routine performance reviews
- Partner with regional leadership to meet contractual and budget expectations
- Strengthen facility relationships through communication and strategic planning
