Position Overview

Cross Country Education invites passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team in a supportive educational environment in Rock Hill, SC as a dedicated teacher for an immediate start on a full-time role that runs through May 2026!
- Manage and lead a self-contained behavior support classroom for students in Grades K-2.
- Develop, implement, and monitor highly individualized, data-driven IEPs focusing on both academic progress and behavioral skills.
- Implement and supervise structured Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and behavioral management plans within the classroom.
- Collaborate closely with district specialists and parents to ensure consistent student support across environments.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field (Required)
- Valid South Carolina Certification in Special Education specializing in:
Multi-Categorical, Emotional Disabilities, Moderate Disabilities, Elementary / Middle Disabilities, or Trainable Mentally Disabled (Required) - Experience managing a self-contained classroom for students with significant emotional and behavioral needs (Preferred)
- Top Compensation:
Earn $48.20 – $49.50 Per Hour, based on your experience and qualifications as a Special Education Teacher, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives. - Generous Benefits:
