Special Education Teacher (Elementary, K‑2)
Location:
Rock Hill, SC
Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to support students in a self-contained classroom setting. This position focuses on providing specialized instruction to young learners with diverse needs in an elementary school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver individualized and small‑group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Foster a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
- Implement differentiated instruction and behavior support strategies
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Track student progress and maintain required special education documentation
- Valid state certification/license in Special Education
- Experience working with K–2 students preferred
- Familiarity with multi‑categorical instructional practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
