Job located at Piedmont Medical Center. Join our team to provide high‑quality sterile processing services in a supportive healthcare environment.

• Run biological and chemical tests at the start of the shift and document results.
• Receive, clean, and assemble soiled instruments in the decontamination area.
• Load sterilizer, run test packs, and record sterilization results.
• Sort, store, and organize sterile items in proper locations.
• Maintain compliance with PPE and infection control standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement (PI) activities and maintain department logs.
• Provide educational support on sterilization procedures to other hospital areas.
• Perform related duties as needed.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college or vocational training. Completion of a Certified Sterile Processing (CSP) Technician course.
• Experience: Up to 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Certifications: Sterile Processing certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD. BLS CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
