, a proud member of the Medical Services of America, Inc. family, currently seeks an experienced Full‑Time Medical Social Worker to join our Hospice team to cover Rock Hill, York, Spartanburg, Union, and Cowpens (Cherokee County), SC.

· Provides social work services in accordance with the physician’s plan of treatment.

· Works with the interdisciplinary team directly, or through coordination of team members, to provide appropriate assessment and support patients and families.

· Provides assessment for normal and complicated grief and provides bereavement counseling as appropriate.

· Serves as a liaison with other community resources.

· Master's or Bachelor's level social work degree from a school of social work accredited or approved by the Council of Social Work Education.

· Minimum of one‑year Hospice experience preferred.

· Valid Driver’s License.
