Human Resources Generalist - Manufacturing
Join Mac Lean Power Systems as a Human Resources Generalist for our manufacturing facility in York, SC. This role supports recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and engagement for a 400‑employee facility.
What You’ll Do- Employee Relations – Investigate employee concerns and promote fair and consistent workplace practices.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning – Manage full‑cycle recruitment, collaborate with hiring managers on job requirements, and oversee onboarding to drive engagement and retention.
- Training & Development – Support safety, compliance, and skill training programs and assist leadership development for front‑line supervisors and managers.
- HR Compliance & Administration – Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, administer HR policies and programs, and maintain accurate HR records.
- Employee Engagement & Culture – Implement engagement initiatives, conduct stay, exit interviews and surveys, and promote a positive culture through recognition, wellness and team‑building activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–4 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Experience in employee relations, investigations and conflict resolution.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with plant leadership and corporate HR.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
