Summary of Primary Functions:
To hook up concrete members to crane so that the erection lead and rigger have members readily available for setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high quality products.
- Checks fuel and lubricant levels of flat bed truck.
- Hooks up crane chokers to lifting loops or bolts on swivels depending on members.
- Loads shipping 4x4 boards off and on trailers.
- Directs truck drivers to drop-off locations.
- Unloads various erection materials off trailers and stores in proper location.
- Sends any tools and equipment up to erection crew when needed by hooking to the crane.
- Sweeps foundation before panels are set.
- Mixes grout in wheelbarrow.
- Builds grout frame boxes and pours grout around set columns.
- Helps relocate crane by raising balance legs, moving wood platforms to new location, directing crane, reposition legs until crane is level.
- Helps other crew members with ground work, helps assemble and disassemble crane.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

- Education and/or
Experience:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. - Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
