• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840–$1,980 per week

• Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend

• Float Requirement:
As needed within skillset (MICU, SICU, other medical units; max 4 patients)

• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (South Carolina or compact state)

• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience (Cardiac ICU/CVICU preferred)

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred

• Strong clinical skills in cardiac and neuro critical care
Cardiac ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Cardiac ICU (CVICU)

• Monitor and manage patients recovering from open heart, neuro, and vascular surgeries, trauma, and medical overflow

• Perform and assist with advanced procedures: chest tube insertion, Swan-Ganz catheter, temporary pacers, cardiac continuous output, JP drains, central lines, arterial lines, tracheostomy, PEG, and G/J tubes

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Float to MICU, SICU, and other medical units as needed within skillset

• Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner EHR system

• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards
