Job Description:

We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Quality Control Chemist I to join our growing Quality Lab team. In this role, you’ll execute hands-on analytical testing of raw materials and finished products in a GMP-regulated lab environment. You  support release, stability, and special request testing using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, and FTIR. If you have a chemistry degree and a passion for lab work, this is a great opportunity to grow in a collaborative and safety-first setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Testing & Compliance

  • Perform release, stability, and special request testing following SOPs, in-house, or compendial methods (USP, etc.)
  • Operate and maintain lab instrumentation including HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV/Vis, titrators, balances, and more
  • Execute testing independently and follow procedures with minimal supervision

Safety & Documentation

  • Maintain a clean, calibrated, and safety-conscious lab environment
  • Follow GMP and ISO 17025 guidelines for test method execution and documentation
  • Stay updated on regulatory publications from FDA, USP, etc.
  • Support continuous lab improvements and scheduling flexibility
  • Assist with training new team members and documenting that training per SOPs
  • Work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with other departments

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Chemistry (preferred concentrations: Biochemistry, Inorganic, Physical, or Polymer Chemistry)
  • 0–5 years in a GMP-compliant laboratory preferred
  • Prior exposure to chromatography (GC, LC/HPLC) or spectrometry instruments is a plus
