Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician and help ensure product quality, food safety, and compliance in a manufacturing environment. This role supports laboratory, warehouse, and production operations through inspections, testing, documentation, and process monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform quality checks, testing, and inspections on products and processes
- Monitor food safety, GMP compliance, sanitation, and production standards
- Review raw materials and finished products for quality approval
- Collect samples and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Conduct equipment calibrations and pre/post-operational inspections
- Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and employee training
- Support QA team coverage during breaks, absences, and vacations
- Stop production when food safety or quality concerns arise
- Associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing or a related industry
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and food safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/SAP experience is a plus
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, walk, and move throughout the facility
- Work in varying noise-level environments
Shift: Rotating monthly shifts available.
