Job SummaryThe Supervisor - Table Games supervises the operation of assigned table games to ensure integrity is maintained, internal controls are followed, company policies and procedures are observed, and superior guest service is provided to ensure guest satisfaction in accordance with the company's customer service and operations standards. This position's starting wage is $27/hour based on experience.
Essential Functions- Perform duties of Shift Manager in their absence.
- Maintain a clear line of communication at all levels of operation when appropriate.
- Supervise floor dealers and protect the integrity of games through observation and following appropriate procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and completion of all signed paperwork and pit documents.
- Maintain frequent and effective contact with guests.
- Effectively deal all games supervised.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all rules regarding games supervised.
- Prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Conduct employee coaching sessions.
- Assist in training staff.
- Answer customer questions about game information.
- Perform as a team member and assist fellow associates to ensure a smooth operation.
- Greet guests appropriately, treating each person as an individual and in a professional manner.
- Understand the goals and vision of the organization and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.
- Coordinate and complete hourly evaluations on hourly associates.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3-5 years table games experience required.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Level 2 Illinois Gaming Board License.
- Must possess the ability to deal multiple games.
- Thorough knowledge of table game policies and procedures.
- Exceptional guest service abilities.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Reliability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
- Basic computer skills: MS Office, Word, Excel, email.
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and evenings as business demands.
- Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure.
- Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge and skill.
- Understand the goals and vision of the organization and demonstrate commitment to those goals in terms of individual and team performance.
- Role model the customer service standards interacting positively through relationships with guests, fellow associates and members of the management team displaying genuine concern and mutual respect for people's needs.
