POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Mixer is responsible for producing quality batches of dough for various product lines. The Mixer will ensure that batches are produced timely in order to ensure no interruption or loss of production. The role will operate the mixer unit while adhering to a specified formula.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Determines appropriate consistency of dough and batter textures.
- Routinely lifts 50 lb. ingredient bags to a height of four feet off the floor. Pushes troughs of dough throughout the shift to respective locations.
- Operates all mixers and supporting equipment in the processing area as instructed.
- Extracts the dough from the mixers following the approved method.
- Follows R&D formulas communicating the amount of the ingredient and mixing speeds.
- Communicates consistently with other employees and supervisors.
- Reports any discrepancies from the accepted/normal operating procedure or mechanical difficulties to the appropriate party.
- Maintains accurate and legible records of ingredients being used throughout the shift.
- Maintains a neat and organized work area at all times.
- Works in other jobs as assigned by Supervisor when required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Able to read and write English to ensure compliance with formulas. Able to write legibly.
- Able to perform basic math.
- Self‑motivated, with the ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.
High school grad or GED preferred but not required.
PAY RANGEUS Hourly Pay Range
$16 - $16 USD
