Overview
Medical/Surgical - Med Surg RN - Travel Nurse in Rock Island, IL. Requires 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities- Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-op patients.
- Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
- Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
- Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patient.
- Educate patients on surgical procedures.
- Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by physician.
- 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
- ACLS, BLS; additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
- Travel Nurse position in Rock Island, IL.
