* Look no further. At The Arc of the Quad Cities Area, we are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our nursing team full-time.

**** Day Shift, Monday through Friday.

*** What are the job requirements for this position?
**** Must have a current and valid driver's license with the appropriate car insurance  + You will travel to our group homes in Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, and the admin buildings to meet with individuals—we pay mileage.
* Provide proof of a Current and valid LPN license in the state of Illinois
* Provide evidence of a high school diploma/transcripts
* Have the ability to pass both Iowa and Illinois background checks
* Demonstrate strength and flexibility to assist with lifting individuals or provide other individual-related care when needed.
* Have a fun and positive attitude to encourage the individuals we serve.
*** What are the responsibilities in this position?
**** Comply with Illinois Administrative Rule 116 while working with The Arc staff to provide support services, including:
+ a. Administer medications and treatments and maintain accurate records as required.  + b. Instructing individuals or small groups in health care per The Arc's guidelines.  + c. Evaluating individuals and keeping necessary documentation.  + d. Participating in staff meetings and IDT discussions as needed.
* Supervise and support the personal and social development of individuals at The Arc.
* Attend necessary conferences, seminars, meetings, and trainings.
* Recommend actions to the supervisor to enhance the health and safety of individuals served.
* Join team meetings and training sessions as required.
