Pay range: $34-$40/hr

Monday-Friday 9:30am-8pm

$2/hr shift premium from 4pm on

Location: Rock Island, IL

Techo-Bloc is on the hunt for their next industrial maintenance electrician. Our technicians are highly proficientinelectrical maintenanceandtroubleshooting.

Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:

• Troubleshootusingelectrical schematics and multimeter/meggertodiagnoseelectrical issues
• Properly size components and cabling for new electrical systems
• Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contractors, relays, break resistersandvarious other electrical components
• Familiar with troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, Allen Bradley,AB
• Start or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasks
• Test malfunctioning machinery,identify parts needed and complete repairs
• Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans whichinvolvesworking at heights, climbingladdersand using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
• Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks asrequiredtomaintainequipment dependability.
• Maintain a clean,sanitary and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 2 + years’ experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Electricianor relevant field.
• Proficient Electrical skills
• Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contractors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components
• Read andcomprehendschematics and diagrams.
• Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems
• Able to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipment
• Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
• Collaborative;
  Works in the spirit of partnership.

• Electrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred)
