Forklift - Rock

Position Title: Forklift

Wage: $17.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group has a great Forklift position available at a company in Rock Island, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.

• Unload and load shipments, verifying merchandise against shipping documents.
• Move merchandise to storage locations, properly documenting locations and reporting any shipment discrepancies.
• Pick orders and prepare them for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of products.
• Maintain accurate records of stock moves, receipts, and shipments using electronic tablets.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently (only after training and certification by the client).
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including sweeping and removing debris in the warehouse.

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Previous exposure to a warehouse environment preferred.
• Accuracy and attention to detail required.
• Ability to sit for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to grasp steering wheel and controls for the entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to stand for part of the shift.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
