Position Description

Permanent Full Time Security Checkpoint Clerk

Location:

Rockford, Illinois 61104

Pay:
Hourly $19.50, Overtime $29.25

Schedule:

Day Shift Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more forklift experience preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self‑driven in a fast‑paced environment
• Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed
• Updates WMS system as needed to reflect area or shift metrics
• Generates daily, weekly, or monthly reports, memos, and summaries of technical or confidential information
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned
• Performs basic administrative tasks, maintains filing systems and documents
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in area of support
• Coordinates activities, meetings, and communication for specific area or shift
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or location specific
