• Implements the Crisis Nursery program to ensure the safety, wellbeing, basic needs and general care of children ages birth through six years attending the Crisis Nursery programming.
• Work closely with parents to assess immediate family needs, make referrals for services and identify community resources to reduce stressors impacting care for their child(ren).
• Ensure daily routines are followed, supervise and monitor safety, care and wellbeing of children in the program.
• Prepare meals and organize mealtimes and snacks for children.
• Develop schedules and routines to provide physical activity, rest and playtime.
• Provide nurturing, age‑appropriate and stimulating activities for Infants, Toddlers and Young Children.
• Coordinate activities to promote development of fine and gross motor skills.
• Provide appropriate behavior management and redirection as needed.
• Admit children to the program and complete relevant intake assessments and screenings, including related tools as part of intake.
• Discharge children and follow up with parents regarding use of the Crisis Nursery.
• Follow licensing standards of health, welfare and safety and maintain staff‑to‑child ratios per license.
• Follow and complete daily maintenance and sanitation schedules.

• A High School Diploma or GED (required).
• You are 21 years of age or older.
• One year of experience working with children, preferably birth to seven years.
• An Associate’s Degree, Child Development Accreditation Certificate, or coursework in child development, early childhood education, or childcare preferred.
• Ability to secure and maintain a valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle required.

• Compensation:
  Hourly range $16.31–$17.38 per hour; offers are commensurate with experience. The final salary will be determined based on factors including experience, education, qualifications, skills, and organizational needs.
