The Rockford Community Center has an exciting

Front Desk Assistant  opportunity available. We are currently seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to provide a high level of customer service at the Rockford Community Center. Selected individual will be responsible to assist with membership inquiries, membership and group fitness retention programs, and facility tours. This individual will actively perform front desk duties and perform various clerical duties, light cleaning and projects as assigned.

This position will be responsive to the general needs and requests of all members, participants, guests and staff in-person and over the phone.

• High School Diploma or GED
• This position requires a minimum of one year of customer service experience. Simple knowledge of computers. Candidate must possess the ability to multi-task and work independently. Experience working in a fitness or recreational facility preferred. Candidate should possess a desire to live a healthy and active lifestyle and motivate others to do the same.

• 2-3 Nights Weekly 3:00 – 9:00 PM
• Every Other Weekend:
  Saturday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (split shift), Sunday 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM (split shift).
