POSITION SUMMARY:

The OSF Cardiovascular Institute, part of OSF Health Care, seeks a BC/BE Electrophysiologist to join their team. OSF Health Care consists of thirteen hospitals and medical centers, one long-term facility and two colleges of nursing. The cardiovascular service line includes over 55 cardiologists and surgeons. You will join a progressive practice that is expected to be busy from day one with a primary care referral base of 300+ providers.

We are a group of 4 electrophysiologists and 2 nurse practitioners who collaborate closely with one another and with a skilled pediatric electrophysiologist.

We have electrophysiology labs with dedicated EP staff who are familiar with performing all devices, Watchman, complex ablations including epicardial VT ablation, as well as Impella devices if needed. OSF Medical Center is a 650-bed hospital with approximately 12 feeder hospitals and a catchment area of 2 million patients. Volume is not a problem at our institution, and there can be waiting periods for atrial fibrillation ablation.

• Provide electrophysiology services within the cardiovascular institute, including ablations, device management, and complex EP procedures as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including EP physicians, nurse practitioners, and pediatric electrophysiology colleagues.
• Participate in clinic, hospital-based procedures, and perioperative care as part of a busy referral-driven practice.
• Engage with the EP lab staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and efficient workflow.

• Board-certified/board-eligible in electrophysiology (BC/BE).
• Desire to work in a collaborative, team-based environment with a strong patient-care focus.
