Anesthesiologist – OSF St. Anthony Medical Center – Part Time (No Call)
Part time Anesthesiologist opportunity available at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and full benefits including 401(k) and profit sharing contributions.
OverviewOSF Saint Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center. The nonprofit Catholic hospital serves the diverse community of Rockford, IL. Outstanding surgeons and support staff work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Provide medical management of patients undergoing anesthesia for surgery and other procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessment and obtain/verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patient’s physiological condition and intervene as needed
- M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- ECFMG and FLEX (if applicable)
- Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
- Location:
Rockford, IL - Schedule:
Flexible; 3, 4, or 5 days per week for 30–36 weeks per year - Benefits:
