Base pay range: $43,642.00 – $91,830.00 per year.

The Teacher understands the central concepts, methods of inquiry, and structures of disciplines and creates learning experiences that make the content meaningful to all students.

• Ensure that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives and parameters found in the Board’s strategic plan.
• Participate in job training and professional growth opportunities to enhance ability to perform essential functions of the job.
• Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
• Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
• Engage students in an inquiry‑based delivery model of instruction.
• Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities.
• Use a wide range of instructional strategies and technologies to meet and enhance the needs of a diverse student population.
• Consider equitable resources and instructional practices to meet the needs of a diverse student population.
• Update and maintain all necessary records accurately and completely as required by law, district policies and school regulations.
• Create and maintain a safe learning environment for all students.
• Demonstrate a variety of effective behavior management techniques appropriate to the needs of all students, including those with disabilities.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with building expectations as well as the district’s student code of conduct.
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
• Participate in Professional Learning Communities (PLC).
• Create formative assessments aligned to district curriculum.
• Analyze student data from both formative and summative assessments to drive differentiated instruction and data‑based decision making for students.
• Utilize current technology to enhance student learning.

Illinois Teaching License with appropriate endorsements and certifications.
