Our staff works incredibly hard to deliver rigorous, individualized, data-driven, and explicit instruction to our scholars. Our instructors spend a significant amount of time planning units, assessments, and lessons that align with the Common Core Standards and meet the individual needs of each scholar.

• Pay: Galapagos Rockford Charter School offers competitive compensation, rewarding successful staff.
• Insurance: Health, dental, and vision plans through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, plus a $25,000 life insurance policy, a $400 mental health stipend, and access to a Flex Spending plan.
• Pension and Retirement: Enrollment in Illinois Teachers Retirement System (TRS) for certified staff; non-certified staff may qualify for Galapagos' Simple IRA with matching contributions.
• Growth Mindset Stipend: After two years, staff may receive a $3,500 stipend for continuing education; after three years, an additional $5,000.
• Mental Health Support: Annual reimbursement of up to $400 for mental health services.
