We’re hiring an Experiential Learning Teacher at Galapagos Rockford Charter School in Rockford, IL!
Experiential learning means learning by doing, helping scholars build academic skills through hands‑on projects and real‑world problem‑solving. This teacher will design purposeful learning experiences that connect academic standards to opportunities to investigate, create, test ideas, and apply knowledge.
We’re looking for someone who brings creativity, strong planning skills, and a commitment to scholar growth. You’ll develop lessons, assess learning, and collaborate with colleagues to help scholars master academic content.
A bachelor’s degree is required. Teaching experience and Illinois certification are helpful, but not required. We provide coaching, professional development, and classroom resources to support your success.
Salary: $45,000–$75,000, based on experience and qualifications, plus benefits.
