Principal Project Engineer - Casting; Onsite

Position: Principal Project Engineer - Casting (Onsite)

** key liaison between cross-functional teams**—including the Value Stream, project engineering, and casting technology—to ensure alignment and support of plant output. You will be responsible for identifying and managing risks, driving cost-saving opportunities, supporting supplier transitions, resolving technical inquiries, while maintaining
** rigorous quality standards

** project profitability**. Adaptive communication skills, technical proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, and the ability to coordinate complex engineering changes in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment are foundational for success in this role. We are seeking a highly motivated, technically driven Project Engineer with deep experience to lead critical initiatives focused on
** QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE
** Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience
* or*an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
* or* in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
** QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER
** Experience with casting manufacturing and mechanical hardware.

Proficiency in CREO, Siemens NX or similar CAD tools for casting models and markups.

Experience with casting simulation or modeling tools.

Hands-on experience in casting design and supplier engagement.

Familiarity with rotating components, housings and oil-wetted structures.

Demonstrated leadership in a production role.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across department and business units.

Excellent technical communication skills.
