This Opportunity

Recognized as the leader in providing the highest quality coolant filtration products and services, we proudly serve the US automotive, aerospace, agriculture, and general machine tool industries. Uniquely positioned in our ability to produce large central systems for an entire plant down to individual filters for a single cutting machine on the floor, our proprietary filtration and cooling technologies come second to none.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Routinely conduct regular site inspections and assessments to identify hazards in the plant or on equipment operations. Recommend corrective action to the Operations and Plant managers and verify their completion.
  • Assist, in conjunction with Corporate EHS and HR, in delivering online or classroom safety training classes ensuring all affected employees have performed timely completions.
  • Conduct and document job safety analysis (JSA’s), risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Oversee and manage sites Safety committee teams and corrective actions.
  • Lead investigations of accidents/ incidents, near misses, return-to-work programs.
  • Promote continuous improvement through the facility utilizing 6S strategies initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain emergency pre‑plant plans and coordination drills.
  • Assist in managing electronic Eco Vadis program for site and Bowling Green.
  • Track and report environmental performance metrics (e.g., air, water, and waste).
  • Deliver EHS training systems through company wide Learning Management System (LMS).
  • React and respond effectively and expeditiously to all employee concerns as they pertain to safety or related issues.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational safety, or related field.
  • Certification in occupational safety and health (OSHA, IH, NEBOSH, etc.).
  • Experience with environmental compliance and waste management.
  • Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
  • Membership in professional safety organizations.
  • 5-10 years of experience in environmental health and safety.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and Indiana and Ohio state regulations.
  • Strong diligence and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment and hazard identification techniques.
  • Effective communication and training skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and generate reports.
  • Experience with industrial hygiene practices.
  • Project management skills.
  • Familiarity with emergency response planning and coordination.
  • Proven history of successfully managing safety programs.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, MS Office Suite, and safety management software.
  • Physical capability to conduct field inspections.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR a plus.
