AutoCAD Drafter

Job Description

The AutoCAD Drafter redraws customer parts, primarily sheet metal components, in AutoCAD and prepares them for production by programming them in SigmaNEST and supporting downstream processing activities.

This role offers strong training opportunities for individuals with foundational AutoCAD skills who want to grow their drafting and manufacturing knowledge in a collaborative environment.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, including the ability to create and modify drawings accurately.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel.

+

Experience with AutoCAD gained through an associate degree program or on-the-job experience.

+ Willingness to learn and train on additional tools and processes related to part programming and production.

Work Environment

This is a first-shift position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with some flexibility toward the end of the shift and typical days not extending past 4:30 p.m.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
