Part-Time Caregiver

Location: Home Instead Rockford, Illinois.

Compensation: $15.50 - $20.00 per week for weekday and weekend shifts.

Shifts Available: Day, Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night (starting at just 4 hours).

Position Overview

We’re seeking dedicated and compassionate caregivers committed to providing high-quality, personalized care. As a professional Caregiver, you will assist with daily living activities, offer emotional support, and ensure clients’ safety and well-being. You’ll play a vital role by providing one-on-one support, building genuine, caring relationships, and helping our clients remain safe and comfortable at home.

What You’ll Do

• Friendly companionship and conversation
• Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
• Light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Specialized Alzheimer’s & Dementia care
• And most importantly—treating clients with dignity, kindness, and respect

What We’re Looking For

• 18+ years old
• Compassionate nature and positive attitude
• Good communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• No experience? No problem! We provide paid skills training to help you feel confident and prepared. All you need is a caring heart and a desire to help others.
