Medical Office Scheduler CSR

The role of a Bilingual Medical Office Scheduler CSR involves managing high-volume incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records for a community health clinic. The position requires fluency in English and Spanish and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The scheduler supports patient quality care by coordinating with staff and ensuring timely triage services.

• Answer high-volume incoming calls in a fast-paced environment
• Determine reason for call and connect appropriately
• Document phone encounters concisely in the electronic medical record
• Coordinate with staff to ensure patient triage needs are met
• Schedule patient appointments accurately using clinic standards
• Verify and update patient demographics
• Collect and track data for routine reporting

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Professional and courteous demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology a plus
• Good grammar in speaking and writing
• Ability to communicate accurately and make quick judgment decisions for clinic services
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written communication
• Work well in a team environment
