Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

A global healthcare enterprise is looking for an Infrastructure Architect who can be both the hands‑on builder and the strategic driver of change across a complex, global technology environment.

This is a high-impact role for someone who came up through systems engineering, networking, or Dev Ops - someone who's been in the weeds of infrastructure and has since grown into the person who sets direction for it. You'll have real influence over how a global enterprise modernizes its core systems, cloud platforms, networking, and security posture, direct visibility with leadership, and the ability to shape both immediate wins and long-term strategy.

We're looking for someone who can walk into a complex, global environment, see what needs to change, build the case for it, and lead the charge to get it done; without losing the technical depth to actually roll up their sleeves when it matters.

• Set the strategic direction for the organization's core systems, networking, and access environment across a global footprint
• Act as a driver of change - identifying where the current environment is holding the business back and building the roadmap to modernize it
• Lead the shift toward modern identity and access strategy, including zero trust principles, to build a stronger, more resilient security posture
• Champion Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automated, repeatable approaches to how infrastructure is built and managed - with Terraform as a core tool
• Guide the organization's approach to containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes) as part of a broader infrastructure modernization strategy
• Identify where legacy network architecture is creating risk or friction, and drive the roadmap to fix it
• Balance big-picture strategy with hands‑on involvement when it's needed to move initiatives forward
• Build and evangelize technical standards and best practices used consistently across a global organization
• Influence and align technology leadership, cross‑functional teams, and outside vendors around a shared systems and security vision
• Translate complex technical decisions into clear, compelling recommendations for executive and non‑technical audiences
• Own initiatives end‑to‑end, from building buy‑in to execution

• A strong foundation in systems engineering, networking, and Dev Ops - this role is built for someone who’s been hands‑on in infrastructure, not someone coming from a purely cloud or application architecture background
• A track record of leading systems/security strategy and driving organizational change - not just executing on someone else’s roadmap
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms in an infrastructure context (AWS preferred);
  hands-on cloud engineering is not the primary focus of this role
• Strong networking foundation - architecture, segmentation, and secure connectivity at enterprise scale
• Solid understanding of zero trust and modern IAM approaches, and how they apply in a large enterprise environment
• Hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices is ideal
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts ideal
• Comfortable operating as both a strategic leader and a hands‑on contributor when the moment calls for it
• Experience influencing change in large, complex, global enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and influence skills, able to build consensus across technical teams and senior leadership
• A confident, ownership‑driven mindset with a genuine track record of leading transformation
