Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction

An established and growth-focused general contractor based in the Beloit/Rockford area is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex commercial, institutional, and industrial construction projects. This firm is recognized for its innovative construction solutions, and client-focused approach that delivers exceptional results across design-build and construction management projects.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll take ownership of large-scale, high-profile projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll serve as a key leader within the organization-mentoring project teams, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring projects are executed with the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept to completion
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and contract administration
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Collaborate with field superintendents, estimators etc
• Drive team performance, mentor junior PMs, and help shape project delivery strategy
• Ensure full compliance with safety, quality, and performance benchmarks

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
• Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar ground-up and renovation projects
• Strong leadership and client-facing communication skills
• Deep understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contract negotiation
• Proficiency with project management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
