CNC Operator II 2nd shift

CNC Operator II 1st and 2nd shift role at MW Components.

Operate and setup CNC Milling Machines to fabricate precision components parts.

Production Manager

• Setup, troubleshoot, program, and operate 5 axis Hurco CNC mill.
• Select and install cutting tools, tool holders, fixtures, and other accessories according to specifications.
• Appropriately modify or edit programs.
• Make appropriate offsets and adjustments to tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Properly use calipers, veneers, and thread gauges.
• Complete required inspection checks.
• Operate header machines as needed.
• Properly and safely load and unload machines.
• Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machines.
• Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
• Utilize and abide by all safety procedures.
• Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

• Effectively communicate and understand job instructions both verbal and written.
• Problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail with precision equipment and products.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or GED required. State Apprentice Program Certification in CNC a plus.
• 5+ years as setup and operator experience in CNC milling machining.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances.

• Required to stand, walk, or bend for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull 30 lbs.
