Evoqua Water Technologies is a manufacturer and provider of Ion Exchange Resins and related services. They are known for their EPICOR powdered resins and other ion exchange resins used in various applications, including nuclear and fossil power plants.

We're looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead a team of process operators and drive operational excellence on the production floor.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

• Overseeing daily production activities to ensure quality and efficiency standards are consistently met
• Conducting audits and inspections to maintain compliance and safety
• Coaching and supporting team members to foster a high-performance culture
• Collaborating with cross-functional leaders to implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitoring key performance metrics and addressing nonconformities proactively

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track chemical inventory levels
• Order supplies and materials as needed
• Monitor Equipment systems and control panels.
• Ensure processes run safely, efficiently, and within quality standards.
• Train new process operators
• Manage and schedule operators and technicians.
• Report operational data and status to upper management.
• Communicate with maintenance, quality control, engineering, and logistics teams.
• Recommend or implement improvements to increase efficiency.
• Monitor production metrics (e.g., yield, waste, downtime).

Safety and Compliance:

• Enforce safety protocols and procedures
• Conduct regular safety training for production team members
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
• Conduct safety inspections and address any safety concerns or hazards
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records.
• Empowerment:
  Mentor junior team members, fostering their growth and skill development.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with cross functional teams to align processes and achieve goals.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 + years in process operations, preferably with supervisory experience.
• In-depth understanding of production management principles and practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of production processes
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, six sigma, or continuous improvement method is a plus.

The estimated salary range for this position is $63,600.00 to $85,000.00 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
