CNC Swiss Set-Up Operator

Join a growing precision machining company that is investing in the future. Our expanding CNC Swiss department features six new Star Swiss machines-with additional equipment planned, and we're looking for an experienced CNC Swiss Set-Up Operator to help support our continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete setups and operate Star CNC Swiss machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
• Make tool offsets and machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules.
• Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC Swiss machining experience.
• Hands-on setup experience with Star Swiss machines preferred.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and excellent communication skills.
