Overview

Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking an experienced Midwife to join our Women's Health team at our Riverside
Clinic in Rockford, IL
.

Opportunity

Provide patient care and education to an assigned caseload of obstetrical and gynecological patients in accordance with established midwifery practice guidelines.

Participate in teaching of midwifery, medical and nursing students, and resident staff.

Collaborate with our experienced team of OB/GYN physicians, and OB Hospitalists.

Two 8-hour clinic days per week along with two 24-hour on call shifts weekly. Midwives self schedule within the group.

Position will include both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities including assisting with deliveries and c-sections in the OR. Midwife group average 100-150 deliveries annually.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Midwifery Program
  • Current IL RN license
  • Current IL APRN license
  • Current DEA number
  • Other certifications as required
  • Previous Midwife experience preferred
